Research Description

Professor Reed’s research focuses on biomedical applications of microsystems and nanotechnology. Current projects include nanoporous metal alloy device coatings for intravascular drug delivery, CMOS-compatible microfabricated ultrasound transducers, nanometer-scale lithography of substrates for selective patterning of biological molecules, and self-assembled nanoscale electronic devices.
